Sign-ins for each event will be Friday 6 – 8 pm and Saturday 7:30 – 8:30 am. On Friday and Saturday, if the hosting club has staff available sign ins and safety may start earlier. This will be handled at the hosting clubs discretion. Late sign ins will receive a no time and will not be allowed to qualify. No one will be allowed to sign in after all qualifying is over. Exception; if a late sign in calls in they must have an approved safety sheet on file to be signed in.

Handlers Meetings
will be Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am.

Safety inspections will be conducted by Region 5 Safety Director, Darrick Scott prior to the regionals (if possible). Safety ties will be used by Region 5 in lieu of individual safety inspections at each event and the original safety sheet will be kept on file and updated at each regional. A tie may be placed on a car anytime throughout the season after a car passes safety inspection. Cars that do not pass inspection initially will not be given a tie at that event and must be re-inspected at the next event. Only when a car passes the initial safety inspection of an event, will it qualify for a tie.

Note: Brake and arm restraint checks must be conducted prior to every race by the pit steward. All deficiencies must be corrected before a car will be allowed on the track. Races will not be held up to correct deficiencies. The Regional Safety Director may request a zip tie to be removed at any time deemed necessary.

QMA ID Badge
QMA ID badges will be mandatory this year to be in the hot chute or on the track. Armbands will only be used in particular situations as a last resort.

Bikes & Scooters are prohibited at all events. This includes motorized and non-motorized types. Violators are subject to disqualification from the event; leave them at home.
